Coach “Ato” Badolato is one of the most recognizable name in Philippine basketball and many of his players have had big careers in college and the Philippine Basketball Association.
His 1982 Red Cubs National Championship Team is arguably considered the best HS team in the history of the Philippines, had six players that were drafted to the PBA: (1) Benjie Paras (2)Ronnie Magsanoc (3) Eric Altamirano (4) Dindo Pumaren (5) Gerry Esplana and (6) Macky De Joya
